I believe real stories have the power to move people, generate empathy, and offer us a deep sense of belonging.
Since working on my first award winning documentary in 2012, ("I Agree With Jennifer"), I was moved by the realization that documentaries had the ability to enact real change in the world.
Since then, I have cultivated six years of experience producing, shooting and editing digital video for clients throughout the California Bay Area across the tech, wedding, and non-profit industries.
In 2017, I proudly completed my Bachelors of Arts in Cinema with an emphasis in Documentaries from San Francisco State University.
After graduating, I edited promotional content for for Cinequest Film Festival and a worked as an Editor & Videographer for Tabrizi Productions where I assistant edited the feature length doc, "Music Driven."
Currently, I work as the the Video Producer/ Editor for Fistula Foundation - a global health non profit based in San Jose. In this role, I work with our communications and development team to implement video across multiple channels and execute the production process from start to finish.
I also continue to shoot and edit projects under my business, MW Cinema and respond to video and photo inquires.
My professional goals are to work on a post-production team with other filmmakers who share my passion for impactful and meaningful digital storytelling.
